This past weekend I rode my bicycle in the Pan Mass Challenge.(PMC)
The PMC is a 200 mile fundraiser ride for the Jimmy Fund and the Dana/Farber Cancer Institute.
Since 1980 the PMC has contributed more than $171 million to cancer research and treatment at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Last year 99 cents of every dollar raised went directly to the Jimmy Fund.
There is a mandatory fundraising commitment for each participant based on how many miles you are riding.
My
minimum contribution this year is $3,600.
I'm well on my way to making this goal. If you would like to help fund my PanMass Challenge please visit my PMC account by clicking this link:

This was my first PMC. I can tell you it was one of the most moving and physically demanding experiences of my life. To see so many people in support of what you're doing along the side of the road. Thousands of volunteers helping with bikes, luggage, water, food & even entertainment.
I stayed in a tent on Saturday night at the Mass Maritime Academy.

Along the roads they have state signs marking the PMC route:
